Anna Kein is a recent graduate from Hamilton College with a dual degree in Literature and Hispanic Studies. Originally from Summit, NJ, Anna has cultivated strong oral and written communication skills, which she has applied to experiences in social media marketing, mentorship, outreach, event production, and large-scale research projects. Anna is excited to utilize these skills in order to help those affected by disaster.

Originally from the Bay Area, Devli has developed a strong foundation in analytical and interdisciplinary thinking. Devli hopes to use these skills to contribute effectively to the American Acorn Foundation and support its mission.

E. Evonne Jean

Evonne Jean is an Immunology Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia studying host defensive responses to pathogenic infection. Evonne is a founding member of Black In Immuno (https://www.blackinimmuno.org/), recipient of the NSF GFRP fellowship award, and member of the American Association of
Immunologists. Having earned their Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from the illustrious Hampton University, Evonne is a strong advocator for diversity and inclusion initiatives and outspoken about equity and combatting injustice. Evonne’s background in science and research will be an asset to growing the American Acorn Foundations interest in public health inequity.
